The XENYX UFX1604 16-Input 4-Bus Mixer with 16x4 USB/FireWire Interfacefrom Behringer provides professional-quality mixing and recording in a compact desktop design. Ideal for use alongside a Mac or PC, the mixer features an integrated 24-bit/96kHz USB/FireWire 16x4 interface for high-end computer integration. The built-in 16-track USB recorder lets you make instant recordings of studio or live sessions on a standard USB flash drive.
The low-noise, high-headroom mixer has 8 state-of-the-art XENYX mic preamps with individual phantom power switches so you can use a variety of microphones. There are also 8 studio-grade compressors with 1-knob functionality and control LEDs for excellent ease-of-use and professional sound. There are neo-classic "British" 4-band EQs with 2 semi-parametric mid bands to shape your sound and give it a warm, musical quality.
The mixer is equipped with dual studio-grade FX processors with 16 editable presets, which include reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, and more. There is an illuminated MIDI transport section so you can control a DAW or sequencer on your computer. There is a pair of Hi-Z inputs for direct connection of guitars. There are also 8 channel inserts, plus XLR and 1/4" main mix outputs for wide compatibility.
Each channel has 4 aux sends, all of which are pre/post fader switchable. There are 4 stereo Aux returns and a separate CD/Tape input for connecting additional devices. The mixer offers a solo-in-place feature with PFL/AFL functionality, plus a fully-featured talkback section for convenient communication. A comprehensive monitor section is provided with separate level controls for the speaker and headphone outputs.
The mixer has long-wearing 100mm logarithmic-taper faders and sealed rotary controls for smooth operation with lasting durability and reliability.
